Japanese sound master ASUNA’s reaction to news of an unreleased UP gem “Kazoo Action” is this blast of horns (Side A) and brass (Side B). Minimalist drone goes the horn; the brass-band gets cut and pasted all over the place. The grade-school band practiced gets a beautiful treatment as it weaves in and out of fuzz and blurp.
ASUNA records and releases regularly on his own label aotoa. He also is in the Tokyo based jam-band helll. The digital release comes with instructions for making your own cassette tape.
